GBPOU "Ozersky Technical College", specialty: Welding Production
I graduated from the State Budgetary Professional Education Institution "Ozersky Polytechnic College" with a major in "Welding Production". At the beginning of my second year, I attended a master class by a participant of the international team WorldSkills Russia. I saw his welds and fell in love with welding right away. When I asked my teacher how to achieve such skill, he said one thing - "you need to train hard and consistently"
I
started practicing on my own after classes, learning various types of welding:
semi-automatic welding, argon arc welding of stainless steel and aluminum. At
the end of my second year, there was a demonstration exam at the college, which
was taken by students in their fourth year. The master suggested that I try it.
The conditions were the same as for everyone else: here's the metal, here's the
tool, and time's started! It was very challenging, but I managed to do it.
From the beginning of my third year, I had a specific goal: to take first place at the regional championship, and then move on to the national finals. I managed to achieve both, and now I am the champion of Russia.
During
this time, I not only trained hard, but also worked at a factory - the
production of "Chemical and Technological Equipment". This was an
important experience of real working conditions, which allowed me to better
understand the process. Of course, I don't plan to stop at what I have achieved
– new interesting challenges are waiting.
